There are three easy buttons for the whole process get done conveniently. The estimated time between your scan and previewed by the monitor is just 16 seconds. To reduce the cable spaghetti on your table there is only one cable which provides both power and USB connection.

One problem Scanner users faces commonly is to scan multiple items and save to individual files. In old scanners you have to put multiple items in scanner and after scanning the file you get is processed by a photo editor to separate it individual files. The Multi-Scan features eleminate this problem now you can arrange your items on glass and just select "Multi-Scan" each and each image of the item saved as an individual file ,it is as easy as one two three . Cannon uses state of the art technology of QARE (Quick automatic Retouching and Enhancement technology) which enables scanner to automatically reduces scratches and dust on your older items.
Expansion Top Feature
Bulky items like personal books , notebooks ,journals etc are big problem during scan , Cannon realizes this problem and added the feature of expansion in CanoScan ,its unique Z-Lid expansion top lifts approximately 1-inch to accomodate the item you want to scan for complete and clear scan.
